Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Estimator for a top electrical construction client supporting branch‐side commercial projects in the Nashville market. This role focuses on estimating healthcare, commercial, and light industrial electrical projects typically in the $10M+ range. The estimator will work primarily in‐office and collaborate closely with project managers, vendors, and leadership. This position offers a clear growth path into Senior Estimator and Preconstruction Manager roles for candidates looking to build a long‐term career in electrical estimating and leadership.

Must-Haves

2+ years electrical construction estimating experience

Experience estimating commercial projects ~$10M+

Ability to develop estimates from take‐off through bid handoff

Strong understanding of NEC and electrical systems

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

Comfortable working primarily in‐office

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Plusses

Healthcare project estimating experience

Light industrial project exposure

Hands‐on electrical field background

Familiarity with ConEst or similar estimating software

Interest in growth toward Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager

Experience coordinating or mentoring junior estimators

Day-to-Day

Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates from take‐off through bid submission

Work closely with Project Managers during bid and preconstruction phases

Develop pricing for change orders as needed

Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs

Attend pre‐bid meetings, scope reviews, and job walks when required

Prepare detailed scope letters and bid documentation

Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing

Meet with engineers, customers, and internal stakeholders

Support branch‐side estimating efforts (non–data center projects)

Assist in coordinating estimating efforts across multiple projects
