Real Estate Associate

Overview We are seeking an associate with 3-6 years of experience to join our Real Estate and Business and Transactions group. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial real estate transactions, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This client‑facing role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of complex and high‑profile real estate matters. Key Responsibilities Gallagher’s Real Estate and Business and Transactions group advises developers, owners, and equity investors in all stages of the real estate life cycle, from land acquisition through development, financing, construction, leasing and disposition. Experience working on acquisitions, dispositions, retail and office leasing, and debt and equity financing. Representing sellers, buyers, lenders, and/or borrowers on mixed‑use, multi‑family, affordable housing, shopping center and office developments. Familiarity with the formation and operation of residential and commercial condominium regimes and homeowners’ associations is helpful. Experience or willingness to learn low‑income housing tax credits, historic tax credits and new markets tax credits is also beneficial. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, consulting agreements, property management agreements, development agreements, easement agreements and other real estate documents. Work Arrangement Remote work policy: 3 full days in the office.
