Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification, with required Adaptive Curriculum Certification
• Previous experience working with elementary-age students preferred
• Proficiency in developing, adapting, and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with families, support staff, and administration
• Ability to create an encouraging, structured classroom that meets the varying needs of up to 10 students

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to elementary students in ECS classrooms based on individualized learning needs
• Develop and deliver adaptive curriculum tailored to diverse learning styles, abilities, and IEP goals
• Monitor student progress, continually adapting teaching methods to ensure optimal development and achievement
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement effective classroom strategies
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing staff development
