Step into an exciting opportunity as a Special Education Teacher serving elementary students in a supportive, contract-based position running from October 1 through May 21, 2027. This role is ideal for passionate educators who are eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students in an ECS classroom setting, focused on adaptive curriculum instruction.

With a predictable schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you’ll work in a classroom with no more than 10 students, ensuring plenty of individual attention and a nurturing environment for each child’s success. You will play a pivotal role in helping students access tailored learning experiences and develop foundational academic, social, and life skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification.
• Adaptive Curriculum certification (required).
• Experience or strong interest in supporting elementary-aged learners.
• Solid understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and differentiated instruction.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, creative, and patient mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver lessons using adaptive curriculum strategies that meet each student’s unique needs.
