Travel Registered Nurse Rehab Job

Overview Registered Nurse - Rehab | Petoskey, Michigan | Start 07/27/2026 | 13-week travel assignment | 36 hours per week | Night shift (3x12) | Inpatient rehab within a hospital-like setting At a high-acuity rehabilitation service, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate, plan, and implement evidence-based care for adults across the rehab spectrum. You will be accountable for clinically sound nursing actions within the scope of licensure, contributing to safe transitions and discharge planning. Key Highlights

• Weekly pay: $1,771–$1,884 per week
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts
• Location: Petoskey, MI
• Weekly hours: 36 per week (not guaranteed)
• Assignment type: Travel - Temporary

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the rehab team to develop and implement an individualized written plan of care based on physiological and psychosocial assessments, goals, and evidence-based practice.
• Assess and monitor patients with acute rehab needs; detect and respond to evolving conditions; document findings and care plans using standard clinical documentation practices.
• Administer medications and therapies per prescribed orders; manage devices and therapies as appropriate for the rehab population.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team using SBAR and other structured communication tools.
• Contribute to discharge planning, patient education, and coordination of post-acute care to optimize outcomes and safe transitions.

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license (state license required)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years of acute rehabilitation (inpatient) experience
• Demonstrated ability to work in an inpatient rehab setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Education: Nursing degree (RN) from an accredited program
