Chief of Staff

Travel: Frequent travel across the US, Canada and other business locations Stelvio Group is partnering with a technology-enabled organization to appoint a Chief of Staff to work directly with the CEO and executive leadership team . This is a strategic, execution-focused leadership position for someone who can operate at enterprise level, bring structure to complex priorities and ensure critical initiatives move from decision through to execution. Working across multiple business units and corporate functions, the Chief of Staff will act as a trusted partner to the CEO while helping strengthen operating discipline, executive alignment and accountability across the organization. The business operates within a complex, multi-entity environment and is pursuing growth through a combination of organic growth, operational improvement, innovation and acquisitions . The Role You will work closely with the CEO to establish and execute enterprise priorities, ensuring leadership attention remains focused on the areas that create the greatest value. Responsibilities will include: Acting as a strategic thought partner to the CEO on key business priorities, decisions and emerging challenges. Translating enterprise strategy into clear initiatives, milestones, ownership and measurable outcomes. Establishing and managing an effective operating cadence across the executive leadership team. Preparing the CEO for critical meetings and decisions by synthesizing complex information and presenting clear options and recommendations. Driving high-priority initiatives that span multiple functions or business units. Identifying execution risks, dependencies and organizational bottlenecks and ensuring they are addressed. Supporting acquisitions, integrations and wider transformation initiatives. Coordinating stakeholders across Finance, Corporate Development, People, Legal, Technology and business leadership. Improving alignment, information flow and accountability across the executive leadership team. Supporting strategic planning sessions, leadership offsites and executive decision forums. Supporting the preparation of concise, decision-ready Board and executive materials. Tracking key decisions and commitments to ensure actions are followed through. Representing the CEO in selected internal meetings and initiatives where appropriate. What We're Looking For We are looking for an experienced strategic operator who is comfortable working directly with CEOs and senior executives in a complex organization. You will ideally bring: 12+ years of progressive experience across strategy, operations, transformation, management consulting, corporate development, M&A integration or a comparable leadership environment. Demonstrable experience working directly with a CEO and/or executive leadership team . A track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution. Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to connect strategic decisions to operational and financial outcomes. Experience within a multi-business, technology-enabled, acquisition-driven or publicly traded environment . Exposure to M&A, post-acquisition integration, enterprise transformation or operating-model change . Strong executive communication skills and experience developing materials for senior leadership and/or Boards. Excellent judgment and discretion when handling sensitive business matters. The ability to influence senior stakeholders without relying on formal authority. A structured, analytical approach combined with a strong bias toward execution. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering or a related discipline; an advanced degree is advantageous. Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes at short notice. The Person This role will suit someone who naturally operates across the entire organization rather than within a single functional silo. You'll be comfortable moving between strategy and execution , challenging senior stakeholders constructively, bringing clarity to ambiguous situations and ensuring decisions result in action. You will need the executive presence to operate alongside senior leadership while remaining sufficiently hands-on to drive initiatives forward yourself. This is not an Executive Assistant or administrative Chief of Staff position .
