Job Title: RN - Med/Surg Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS preferred Must-Have: Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role Description: This is a travel RN position in Med/Surg. The unit has 18 beds and is staffed with 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, and 1-2 techs. Patient ratios are 6:1. You will be responsible for post-operative assessments and care. Experience with GYN/Onc and Urology is preferred. You will also manage pain, including PCA and Epidurals. Foley catheter maintenance is part of your duties. Ideal candidates will be team-oriented, compassionate, and able to cope well in a fast-paced environment. This unit is known for its great culture and teamwork.
