Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 09:00 - 21:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Candidates must have completed 2-3 travel assignments. Candidates must have 2-3 years of Emergency Room experience. Description: The position involves working in a fast-paced emergency department. The unit consists of 27 beds and a staff of approximately 50 registered nurses and 25 medics. Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5 registered nurses, and 2-3 medics. Patient ratios are typically 4-6:1. The facility uses Meditech as its electronic medical record system. Common procedures include RSI, sepsis interventions, and stroke protocol with tPA administration. Experience in high-acuity emergency settings with significant patient volumes is preferred. Ideal candidates possess a relaxed, easy-going personality and demonstrate teamwork and respect. No on-call duties are required. Weekend shifts are mandated, consisting of four weekend shifts per scheduling period.
