Senior Linux Systems Engineer

Job Title

Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Network Account Management
• Deliver tasks independently
• Network/Systems design and assessment
• Switching, Firewall, VPN/setup maintenance
• Linux Administration
• Server and Cloud Migrations
• Willingness to work on high level/complex issues as well as break fix work when needed
• Effectively articulating repair/resolution options to potentially non-technical users
• Work well on a team, engaging in knowledge sharing and backup support for other engineers

The successful candidate will have: Experience with following:

• AWS migration and implementation experience
• Implementing and managing Ansible management tool.
• With source control tools and practices, preferable with Terraform, Git and Github.
• Configuring and supporting continuous integration and continuous deployment environments (Bitbucket, JIRA and Jenkins).
• Linux proficiency experience 7+ years
• Ansible experience
• Manage Appian servers
• Microsoft Office 365 (Mail, SharePoint & Azure)
• 5+ years Windows Systems Administration
• 2+ years operating on premises and managing to AWS infrastructure
• IIS and SQL experience a plus
• Virtualization (Hyper-V/VMWare) experience
• Networking Experience including but not limited to VLAN setup/maintenance, firewall configuration and VPN Site-to-Site networking
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must have experience with Ansible and Terraform.
