This contract-based position begins at the end of August and spans the academic year through early June. You’ll play a vital role supporting students’ speech and language development, helping them reach their fullest potential in a dynamic educational setting.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Michigan SLP license (required at time of application)
• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Prior experience providing speech services in K-12 schools
• Comfortable working onsite, as virtual services are not available for this role
• Ability to manage and provide therapy for diverse caseloads across elementary, middle, and high school
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with educators and caregivers
• SLP-CF’s are not eligible; seeking fully credentialed clinicians

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students with diverse communication needs
• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document progress
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals and success strategies
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as an engaged partner in student development
