Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding role supporting Pre K–12th grade students as a Contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) near Feeding Hills, MA. This unique position offers the opportunity to serve as a floater within the district for the upcoming school year, providing vital therapeutic support across various educational settings.

You’ll make a direct impact working with educators and therapists to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to diverse student populations. The academic year runs from September 3, 2026, through June 24, 2027, with approximately 29 hours per week. There’s potential for that to increase to 30 hours, depending on preference and departmental needs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid COTA certification and ability to practice in educational settings
• School-based pediatric experience highly preferred
• Adaptability to support students across Pre K–12th grade
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff and families
• Commitment to promoting student independence and participation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions as directed by supervising therapists
• Travel between three school sites, including early childhood and elementary settings, on a set schedule
• Flexibly manage a caseload of students; assignments may be adjusted as needs arise
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment to help all students thrive
