Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity awaits for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who thrives in a dynamic educational environment! This contract assignment, located near Chicopee, MA, runs from September 3, 2026, through June 24, 2027 and offers a flexible weekly schedule totaling approximately 29-30 hours. The position is centered on providing support across multiple sites, primarily working with students from Pre-K through 12th grade. As a floater COTA, you’ll have the unique chance to collaborate with various educational teams and make a positive impact on diverse student populations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed and certified as a COTA in Massachusetts
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings

Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions as outlined by occupational therapists
- Assist students in developing, improving, or restoring functional activities within the school setting
- Work across multiple locations on a weekly rotating schedule (site assignments may include Pre-K, elementary, and secondary campuses)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and student progress
- Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and other support staff
