Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience. 3 months of Epic experience is preferred. Required Skills/Experience: 2+ years Stepdown or ICU in an acute care hospital. Competent with insulin gtts, precedex, titrating nitroglycerin, Cardizem, and BiPAP. Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with post-op surgical and trauma patients is helpful. Unit Details: Patient ratio 1:6 (estimates, not guarantees). Uses IV pumps, computers, glucometer, and GE monitoring equipment. Cardiac med-surg unit caring for post-cardiac cath, Afib, CHF, stable MI, and general medical overflow patients; includes post heart caths with interventions, pacemaker insertion, non-titrated cardiac drips, and cardiac gtts for dysrhythmias. Shift & Scheduling: Weekends as required by facility. Call as required by facility. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week.
