Associate (Manhattan)

A thriving well established matrimonial firm in midtown Manhattan seeks to hire an associate with 3+ years of experience in matrimonial/family law. The candidate will gain hands on experience working with clients, preparing pleadings and motions, assisting with and appearing at depositions and court appearances, negotiating and drafting settlement agreements, and helping direct client matters. This is a great opportunity to join a growing and collaborative team that prides itself on its work/life balance. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

* An analytic self starter with a strong work ethic and organizational skills;

* Strong research and writing skills;

* Good oral communication skills and ability to communicate and be personable with all levels of clients and business professionals;

* Ability to multitask and collaborate;

* Have basic knowledge of Supreme Court and Family Court procedures;

* J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to New York Bar;

* Proficiency in MS Office.
