POSITION SUMMARY:

Position will report to the Vice President Business Analytics – Inspired Mixology and have responsibility for multiple job functions. The Senior Sales Analyst will lead business performance management, sales execution and category management insights for the Inspired Mixology business unit that includes Zing Zang and Angostura brands. Essential Functions: Lead weekly/monthly commercial performance management reporting to identify gaps, opportunities, priorities and actions; Data includes shipments, depletions, distribution, inventory and scans. Lead weekly performance management of National Account customers using retailer specific data (Walmart/Sams, Kroger, Target). Data includes sales, distribution, inventory, in-stock metrics. Lead development of category management insights and translate into clear, fact-based selling stories and presentations to allow Sales team to influence distributors and retailers to gain distribution. Lead compliance and execution tracking for National Accounts and Key Retailers by using retailer specific data, Nielsen and/or Distributor Data (VIP). Lead the white space opportunity identification and tracking. Assist in program ROI in conjunction with Sales, Sales Ops team and VP Business Analytics. Assist in the annual planning process: depletions, distribution, promotion, brand priorities. Provide tools and analysis to management based on ad hoc requests for information and performance trends and goals. Ensure data accuracy/integrity and work with vendors (VIP, Retailers, Circana). Education/Experience/Qualifications/Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience Minimum 5 years of work experience, Bev Alc Industry experience a plus. Valuable systems experience including Circana, Retailer POS (Scintilla, 84/51), VIP (distributor depletions) and Microsoft Office (Exceptional Excel, Power BI, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.); Ability to understand, analyze and utilize retailer point of sales (POS), depletions and shipment data and convert into insights and actions. Ability to “connect the dots” between disparate data sources to drive insights. Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to influence Sales and Marketing teams through clear verbal and written communication; Ability to manage workload and deliver highly accurate information within agreed and tight timeframes. Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture strong cross-functional relationships, both in person and remote Resourceful and proactive – can take the initiative to be the business lead when necessary. Compensation: Annual salary for this position ranges from $84,000 - $119,000 Physical Requirements and Work Conditions: Ability to remain seated at a workstation for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day). Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling office equipment. Ability to view computer screens and read printed materials for prolonged periods.
