Location: Lewisville, TX - 100% Onsite

Duration: Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview


We are looking for a Senior Regional Test Manager to lead end-to-end testing activities across connected services for commercial vehicles. This role will report directly to the Global QA Manager and will coordinate testing across multiple delivery teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders.


The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automotive connectivity/telematics , along with hands-on knowledge of CAN, J1939, UDS, and Vector CANoe . This is a test management and coordination role, but the candidate must have enough technical understanding to lead integration and E2E testing effectively.


Key Responsibilities

• Own the overall test strategy, planning, integration, and E2E validation for regional and cross-regional projects.
• Define the scope between individual delivery-team testing and overall E2E testing.
• Create and maintain the Master Test Plan , including testing timelines and Go/No-Go milestones.
• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) across multiple delivery teams.
• Manage cross-team dependencies, defects, risks, and testing blockers.
• Coordinate testing resources and secure tester capacity from different teams.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Delivery Managers, Test Leads, suppliers, and external validation teams.
• Coordinate with vehicle testing and validation teams and track overall testing progress.
• Review test results and prepare test summary reports.
• Monitor and report quality metrics to QA leadership and stakeholders.
• Define and enforce quality gates, pass/fail criteria, and release readiness requirements .
• Provide Go/No-Go recommendations based on test results, defects, risks, and quality metrics.
• Coordinate supplier software stability, delivery risks, and integration issues.
• Support test environment, test bench, and required testing infrastructure preparation.
• Participate in QA process, template, standards, and audit activities.
• Perform audits of requirements, test cases, test artifacts, and test reports.
• Collaborate with teams across North America and Europe on global initiatives.
• Work effectively across both Agile/Scrum teams and Waterfall supplier workstreams .

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience managing testing for large automotive projects .
• Automotive connectivity and/or telematics experience is required.
• Experience with commercial vehicles/trucks is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of:
  • CAN
  • J1939
  • UDS
• Experience with automotive CAN simulation/testing tools, preferably Vector CANoe .
• Proven experience with Test Management, System Integration Testing (SIT), and End-to-End (E2E) validation .
• Experience coordinating testing across multiple teams and complex system integrations.
• Strong defect management, dependency tracking, capacity planning, and quality reporting experience.
• Experience establishing and enforcing quality gates and release criteria.
• Strong supplier/vendor coordination experience.
• Experience working in both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments .
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Connected services for commercial vehicles.
• Vehicle data collection, telematics, cloud data processing, analytics, or transport management systems.
• Experience working with global teams across North America and Europe .
• Experience with OTA integration/testing.
• Experience with PACCAR or similar commercial vehicle manufacturers is a plus.

Ideal Candidate


The ideal candidate is a senior automotive Test Manager/QA Manager who understands both the technical side of connected vehicles and the management side of large-scale integration and E2E testing .


Candidates should be able to coordinate multiple delivery teams and suppliers, identify integration risks, manage defects and dependencies, and confidently provide Go/No-Go recommendations to leadership.
