Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, classroom aide, or similar role in a school environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and staff.
• Ability to provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students as directed by classroom teachers.
• Flexibility and adaptability when working with diverse student populations, including those with special needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in education or special education a plus.
• Team-oriented mindset, eager to collaborate with educators and fellow support staff.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students during classroom activities.
• Support instructional planning by preparing and organizing educational materials.
• Assist students with assignments and adapt learning tasks as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere, ensuring student safety and engagement.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor progress and implement individualized support plans.
• Supervise students during non-classroom activities, such as lunch and recess, as needed.
