Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.

• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images.
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions.
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain patient records within our electronic medical system.
• Stay updated with progress in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices.

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.

Certifications Required

• Current accreditation from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus.
