Overview Physical Therapy Assistant (LTAC), Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Travel assignment starting 11/30/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $1,731–$1,834 with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Shift: 5x8 Days. Setting: Skilled nursing facility (LTAC) in a travel, temporary assignment. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,731–$1,834 per week Guaranteed hours: 35 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8 Days Start date: 11/30/2026 Setting: Skilled nursing facility with LTAC responsibilities Responsibilities Assist PT under supervision to implement treatment plans for patients in the LTAC/SNF setting Facilitate therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance work, ROM, and standardized functional activities Prepare and position patients for therapy, monitor response to interventions, and modify activities as directed Document patient progress, accurately record treatments, and communicate changes to the PT and nursing team Maintain safety and infection control standards; promote patient dignity and comfort during therapy sessions Support care plan goals through collaboration with PT, nursing, and other rehabilitation staff Requirements Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain licensure Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program Prior LTAC or skilled nursing facility experience preferred Ability to work in a 35-hour-per-week travel assignment and in a LTAC/SNF environment Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills Benefits and Support Weekly pay during every week of the assignment Guaranteed hours per week Assignment support from a dedicated recruitment and travel team Credentialing and onboarding assistance Housing options available Extension opportunities where available 24/7 support during the assignment About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
