Family Office Accountant

Vaco has a client near Bridgewater NJ looking for a Family Office Accountant to work onsite and be responsible for the accounting related to the owner’s personal finances, trusts and investments, as well as some real estate holdings. QuickBooks is required. Responsibilities include: invoice processing, cash receipt recording, bank reconciliations and monthly financial reportingfor trusts, foundations, and investments posting journal entries processing year end 1099s recording expenses, receipts, distributions, payroll funding and other transactions accurately and on time. trial balance generation and review provide financial reports act as the liaison in regards to tax returns Required: Bachelors’ degree in accounting Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting in a family office or small business environment Experience with accounting for Trusts and Foundations QuickBooks experience required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Target salary - $100-105k Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. discretionary bonuses medical benefits dental benefits vision benefits company’s 401(k) retirement plan #J-18808-Ljbffr
