Recruitment Number 22-0425 The Department of Transportation has multiple urgent vacancies located in the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. Shift work: Applicants must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays. A continuous recruitment may be closed at any time. Duties Summary

Independently perform a variety of skilled electrical work in the repair, maintenance and installation of electrical systems and equipment as a regular and continuing assignment; may supervise one or more helpers assisting in the work; and perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

To qualify, applicants must meet all of the following requirements: Legal Authorization to Work: The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States. Electrician License: A valid State of Hawaii Journey Worker Electrician License, Journey Worker Industrial Electrician License, Supervising Electrician License, or Supervising Industrial Electrician License is required at the time of application. NOTE: Hawaii does not have reciprocity agreements with other jurisdictions. Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Some positions require possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B, no restrictions relating to code L (air brakes) within 6 months from the date of hire. A valid out-of-state CDL may also be accepted. If you are selected for this position, you must transfer your out-of-state CDL to a Hawaii-issued CDL prior to your employment start date and within 30 days of arriving in Hawaii.
