This Mobile Equipment Operator 1 is responsible for transferring and keeping inventory of surplus property and equipment.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties

• Responsible for the pickup, loading, unloading and disposition of surplus property and equipment. This duty is associated with removing excess and surplus equipment from University departments on the SUBR Campus transferring the equipment to the Property Management Warehouse or LPAA Warehouse. Checks the LPAA AMS System to verify the status of equipment being picked up for surplus. This duty requires manual labor, use of hand truck, dollies, platform dollies, pallet lifts and similar equipment moving apparatus and operation of forklift equipment.
• Assist with making sure all equipment over $1,000 is tagged within the 60-day guideline.
• Assist with the Annual Property Inventory Certification and with tagging and retagging University equipment.
• Keep warehouse floor area organized, neat, clean and orderly.

Compensation: The beginning salary is $16.06/hourly
