Faculty - Family Medicine (Battle Creek) Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine Department of Family and Community Medicine (DFCM) is seeking an additional OB-optional faculty member for its 6-6-6 Family Medicine Residency in Battle Creek, MI. The program partners with Bronson Battle Creek Hospital and Grace Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center. It is the first state residency fully based in an FQHC, providing residents with full scope family medicine training. Responsibilities Provide clinical services through resident supervision and develop a personal patient panel. Cover precepting, inpatient, and newborn services; OB is optional. Recruit, supervise, educate, and assess resident physicians. Participate in quality improvement, utilization review, and outcomes management. Participate and lead in committees and initiatives with program partners. Provide high-quality instruction for undergraduate and graduate medical education. Perform other duties as assigned by the Department. Qualifications MD or DO degree. Completion of an accredited residency program. Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. Eligibility for Michigan license.
