Project Analyst

Important Information: This is a 12-month limited-term appointment with the possibility of becoming permanent. Under the direction and supervision of the Supervisor II and indirectly the Legal Support Operations' (LSO) Southern CA Manager, the Analyst II is responsible for performing a wide variety of complex, technical and analytical staff work related to improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness of office processes and equipment/technologies. The Analyst II will conduct analysis, make recommendations, put together and oversee various projects proposals, and assess efficacy of results. The position is responsible for aiding the Supervisor II (Office Manager) in evaluating that legal services and support processes are applicable and relevant to the evolving legal field in a hybrid work environment. ANALYST II

Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate: Experience performing analytical work involving organizational analysis, business process improvement, workflow evaluation and implementation of administrative or business solutions. Demonstrates ability to manage multiple assignments, projects and competing priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience developing and maintaining dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and generating reports to monitor operational performance and support leadership decision making processes. Experience managing structured datasets, maintaining data integrity, supporting data governance practices and data base management. Experience developing business solutions using formulas, automation logic, reporting tools, document generation and workflow applications; knowledge of scripting, or low code/no code solutions (e.g., Java Script or similar technologies) ideal Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, include the ability to communicate technical and operational concepts; and generating presentations, executive summaries, reports and recommendations for various audiences.
