Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental and emotional health status.

• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.

• Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to guide your therapeutic approaches.

• Monitor client progress by reviewing and adjusting treatment plans as needed to reflect changes in client conditions.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records and documentation of all client interactions, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support and resources to clients in acute distress.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health therapy, participating in ongoing education and training initiatives.

• Advocate for clients' rights, helping them navigate mental health services and community resources effectively.

• Encourage self-care practices among clients to promote their overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population is diverse, comprising adolescents, adults, and couples grappling with a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. As a therapist, you will play a crucial role in guiding individuals and families through their unique circumstances, fostering a deeper understanding of their needs, and equipping them with the tools they need for positive change.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.
\n
• Valid and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing effective individual and/or couples therapy.
\n
• Experience working with both child and adult populations is highly desirable.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in teletherapy and familiarity with various telehealth platforms.

• Training in specific therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or Emotionally Focused Therapy.

• Background in crisis intervention and emergency support services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
