Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry to fill an opening in San Antonio , Texas .

Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry:

Addresses questions about over-the-counter medications, assists with product selection, and provides guidance on non-prescription healthcare products.
Collects and inputs prescription information, ensuring adherence to pharmacy protocols and legal requirements.
Assists in insurance verification activities by contacting insurance companies to obtain necessary authorizations and resolving insurance-related issues or questions.
Handles cash register operations, processes payments, and accurately manages financial transactions, including insurance claims and copayments.
Manages inventory on the pharmacy front end, including over-the-counter medications, health products, and related items.
Monday to Friday 8a- 4:30pm; Perm: Mon - Thur: 9a - 530p & Fri 8a - 430pm

Required Qualifications for Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry:

Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
3-6 months pharmacy experience
HS Diploma/ GED
