Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience: Minimum 01 year of related pharmacy technician experience, Strong data entry skills, Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint, Strong attention to detail while multitasking across multiple systems, Ability to read and interpret prescription terminology and medication names, Secure, private, and distraction-free home workspace with a door, Personal internet service capable of supporting a virtual work environment

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience: Experience training or mentoring pharmacy technicians or support staff

Certified Pharmacy Technician Overview: Support pharmacy operations by providing excellent customer service, processing prescription information, assisting with insurance verification, and educating patients on over-the-counter medications. Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy regulations, patient confidentiality requirements, and prescription processing standards. Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering timely service. Collaborate with pharmacy team members to support efficient workflow, resolve customer inquiries, and contribute to positive patient experiences. Maintain inventory, process payments, and assist with insurance claims while adhering to established pharmacy policies and procedures. Contribute to a productive team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting the onboarding and development of less experienced staff

Job Duties: Answer questions regarding over-the-counter medications, Assist customers with selecting non-prescription healthcare products, Collect and enter prescription information in accordance with pharmacy procedures and legal requirements, Verify insurance coverage by contacting insurance providers, Obtain necessary authorizations and resolve insurance-related issues, Process cash register transactions, payments, insurance claims, and copayments, Manage front-end pharmacy inventory, including over-the-counter medications and health products, Educate patients on dosage, proper use, and potential side effects of over-the-counter medications, Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, patient confidentiality requirements, controlled substance regulations, and prescription labeling standards, Prioritize workload and manage customer queues to support efficient service, Communicate effectively with pharmacy team members to maintain workflow
