CNC Milling Machinist$30-$40/HRJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join our dynamic team. This is a direct placement opportunity on night shift or weekend days. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up milling machines, checking parts for quality, coaching other machinists, and performing programming at the machine.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate milling machines, ensuring low scrap rates.Check parts and provide quality assurance.Coach and mentor other machinists.Perform programming, tool changes, program edits, and offsets directly at the machine.Understand and work with various CNC control systems.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience in setting up milling machines.Proficient in machining, mill setup, and CNC operations.Experience with tool changes, program edits, and offsets.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform basic calculations using simple math.Proficient knowledge of CMM, VCMM, and GD&T.Why Work Here?Enjoy a great company culture that promotes from within, with our president having started as an engineer.
