Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Required AHA BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a certified OR/Surgical Technologist within the specialty.
• Experience in Orthopedic and Ophthalmology procedures required.
• Willingness and ability to float to other operating locations as needed, including Main OR or outpatient surgery locations to obtain scheduled hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in outpatient surgery center settings.
• Familiarity with perioperative protocols in a hospital setting.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, typical start around early morning (schedule described as 6:45 a.m.-3:15 p.m. for a 32-hour pattern; facility may guarantee 40 hours with required floating to other OR locations, including Fridays).
• Required to float to Main OR or OP Surgery locations when needed to obtain hours.
