LPN - Internal Medicine

Department/Unit: HBD - Internal Medicine Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $54,690.00 - $82,035.00 Licensed Practical Nurse Internal Medicine Office Work schedule: Monday – Friday Location: Albany, NY Responsibilities Obtain and accurately record patient’s vital signs. Document components of patient’s history. Communicate in an open and appropriate manner with patients, visitors, and staff. Participate in in‑office procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing. Perform venipuncture to obtain blood for lab testing. Handle prescription call‑backs per scope of practice. Prepare patient’s chart for pertinent clinical information. Maintain inventory of supplies and keep patient examination rooms stocked. Adhere to AMC’s regulatory compliance issues. Qualifications High School Diploma/G.E.D. – required. Previous experience in a patient care setting – preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to present information and respond to questions from physicians, patients, family members, or other employees. LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse – State Licensure upon hire – required.
