Join our team and play an essential role in shaping safer futures.University degree (equivalent to a Bachelors degree) in Engineering or Business.5+ years of experience working in an analytical laboratory.Prior leadership experience highly preferred.Experience of NSF 60, 61 and NSF 372 StandardsExperience operating and maintaining Agilent GCMS's and ICPMS'sExperience with GCMS data validation specifically for BNA method 625 and VOC method 524.Basic understanding of Scheme ownership and SOP creation and maintenance.Demonstrates knowledge of how decisions impact business results, working with a diverse team and planning and thinking strategically.Demonstrates the ability to manage employee performance using performance expectations and goals and responding to employee relations issues.Demonstrates the ability to make the complex simple and present information in a concise, relevant and powerful manner.Demonstrates the ability to analyze and interpret analyses, data, process documents and plans.Demonstrates proficiency in local language and basic English.What we offer:Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $115,000-120,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. Leads and/or participates in discussions to drive business initiatives through brainstorming discussions.Empowers and holds team accountable to find new opportunities to effectively drive growth & financial goals (revenue, profit, enterprise value, etc. ).Delegates Project Handlers to establish the appropriate test programs.Supports and guides project handlers to ensure compliance with requirements, changes in project scope or specifications and customer notifications.Explains UL family of company's policies, procedures and requirements, negotiates completion dates and sample requirements, and ensures an effective experience with the UL family of companies.May handle some projects and/or act as lead reviewer to support workflow and demand.Communicates and exemplifies ULs Vision and Mission.Leads, promotes and embraces change through self and team.Collaborates and builds trust within the organization and with customers to meet or exceed their expectations.Develops strong, flexible cross-functional networks and global relationships to promote becoming the fastest, highest quality and most customer-friendly organization.
