About the Position

Job Title: MS/Tele Float RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 Experience: 2 years required, must have completed at least 1 travel assignment License: Must have a DC or MD license Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. Every other weekend required. Holidays as needed. Float required within skillset and acuity. Facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine with no exemptions. Description: The MS/Tele Float RN position requires candidates who can manage a variety of patient care situations across multiple settings. BLS and NIHSS certifications are mandatory, while ACLS certification is preferred. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring telemetry patients and managing acute and chronic medical conditions. Strong skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing IV access are essential. Experience in high acuity settings will be beneficial. Candidates must have prior travel nursing experience and be comfortable floating to different units. The role involves occasional weekend and holiday shifts based on unit needs. Interdisciplinary support will be provided, including respiratory services and social services. Candidates should be prepared to manage various patient diagnoses. Participation in patient care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration is expected. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
