Executive Director – Senior Living Community | Virginia

Are you a natural leader who blends emotional intelligence with financial acumen? A well-established and growing senior living organization in Virginia is searching for their next Executive Director to lead a thriving Assisted Living & Memory Care community.

As Executive Director, you'll be the culture ambassador and driving force behind the community — leading day-to-day operations while keeping residents, families and your team at the heart of every decision.

Core responsibilities include:

• Owning the overall well-being, care and satisfaction of residents across the community
• Coordinating care and services alongside nursing and care leads
• Building, developing and retaining a high-performing team
• Driving the community's financial performance, including NOI and budget accountability
• Leading local marketing and outreach to support occupancy and staff recruitment
• Acting as the primary point of contact for regulatory and licensing matters
• Modelling company values and maintaining a strong, positive presence in the community

What's on offer:

• Monthly performance bonus: up to $1,500 (NOI-based)
• Quarterly KPI bonus: up to $2,000
• Annual bonus: 5% of NOI earned above your community's stabilized target
• $50,000 Longevity & Loyalty Bonus at 5 years of service

What we're looking for:

• 2-3+ years' leadership/supervisory experience in senior housing or assisted living
• Demonstrated financial acumen and P&L / budget ownership
• High emotional intelligence and genuine passion for service
• A confident, hands-on leader who builds strong teams and drives results
• Meets state regulatory requirements for licensed Assisted Living leadership
• Post-secondary education required; degree preferred
• Warm, outgoing and compassionate communication style
