Assistant Cook Operator - 2nd Shift

Assistant Cook Operator – 1st Shift Rate: $20.00 per hour Location: Cohoes, NY Hours: Mon – Fri: 5:45 am until 2:30 pm, with mandatory overtime as required. Weekends off. Responsibilities Roll large carts of hanging sausages (~500 lb) into and out of the Kitchen & Processing Areas. Track and record oven cook times and temperatures. Track and record chill‑down times and temperatures. Rotate racks of product efficiently to keep pace with assembly and production lines. Coordinate with the room supervisor on the daily schedule. Clean and inspect the Kitchen and Smokehouse areas before and after daily production. Work effectively in both hot and cold conditions. Fill in other key positions (e.g., spice blending) as needed.
