Member Relations Coordinator

Chief Operating Officer at Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce At the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, we believe our members are at the heart of everything we do. This role is all about making sure they get the most out of their investment—by strengthening relationships, creating positive experiences, and ensuring every member feels supported. What You’ll Be Doing Be the friendly voice reaching out to members to check in, offer support, and answer questions. Keep members engaged by leading outreach for renewals, following up with at-risk accounts, and sending thank-you and welcome communications. Support signature Chamber programs and events that bring businesses together—like Business After Hours, Maximize Your Membership, and the Small Business Award Lunch. Work closely with staff and volunteers to create meaningful touchpoints with members. Track and celebrate success by monitoring retention efforts and sharing results with the team. What We’re Looking For A natural relationship-builder with excellent communication skills. Organized and detail-oriented—you love checklists and follow-through. A customer service champion who enjoys helping others succeed. Event planning or coordination experience is a plus (but not required!). A college degree is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
