Mobile Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanic Location: Navasota, Texas Area Pay: Competitive pay based on experience We are looking for an experienced Mobile Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanic to join our team in the Navasota, Texas area. This position requires a mechanic who can travel to job sites and customer locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment in the field. Experience working on Humvees, trailers, skid steers, and diesel-powered equipment is preferred. Responsibilities Travel to customer and job site locations to perform field repairs and maintenance Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues Repair and maintain: Humvees Military and commercial trailers Skid steers Heavy equipment and diesel vehicles Perform preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs Troubleshoot equipment failures quickly and efficiently Maintain service records and communicate repair needs with customers and management Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally Qualifications Previous experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic required Mobile mechanic or field service experience preferred Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics Experience working on military vehicles is a plus Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Company service truck may be available for qualified candidates Steady, full-time work Opportunity to work on a wide range of equipment Supportive team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
