Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanic Location: Navasota, Texas Area Pay: Competitive pay based on experience We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanic to join our team in the Navasota, Texas area. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining military and commercial equipment including Humvees, trailers, skid steers, and other diesel‑powered machinery. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on: Humvees Military and commercial trailers Skid steers Heavy equipment and diesel vehicles Conduct inspections and troubleshoot equipment failures Replace and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and hydraulic systems Maintain service records and repair documentation Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs in a timely manner Qualifications Previous experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic preferred Experience working on military vehicles is a plus Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Must have reliable transportation and basic mechanic tools Ability to lift heavy parts and work in outdoor/shop environments What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Steady, full‑time work Opportunity to work on a variety of equipment Supportive team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
