Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This per diem opportunity offers the chance to work as a Staff Pharmacist specializing in long-term care and mail order pharmacy services during evening shifts. Location: Lansdale, PA
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
• Every other weekend
• Duration: 5.5 weeks (2 positions available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately accept, prepare, and dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Monitor patient medication adherence and identify any overuse or potential drug-related issues.
• Maintain confidential and precise patient records and pharmacy files.
• Advise patients on medication use, potential side effects, storage, and answer medication-related questions.
• Provide additional patient services including smoking cessation advice, blood pressure and cholesterol management.
• Educate patients on the proper use of medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following established procedures.
• Oversee pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Manage inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies accurately.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with healthcare practitioners to resolve medication-related problems.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania pharmacy license is required.
• Pharmacy experience, with preference given to those experienced in long-term care and mail order pharmacy environments.
