Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Job Description

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.

Minimum Requirements

\n

\n
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology
\n
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
\n
• BLS certification
\n
• 2 years' experience as a nuclear med tech
\n
• Prior travel experience
\n
• Completion of an approved program in Nuclear Medicine or other appropriate training
\n
• NM Radiology Technologist License
\n
• Certified with the Society of Nuclear Medicine or eligible
\n
• CNMT
\n

• Monday - Friday
\n
• 40 hours per week
\n
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
\n

Location Highlights

Deming offers access to desert landscapes and regional day-trip destinations in southern New Mexico. Rockhound State Park is about 12 miles from central Deming and is known for hiking trails and public rock collecting in the Little Florida Mountains. City of Rocks State Park is roughly 30 miles north and features volcanic rock formations, dark-sky stargazing, and camping in a quiet high-desert setting. Downtown Deming includes the Deming Luna Mimbres Museum and local dining, while Interstate 10 provides a direct route to Las Cruces in about 60 miles and Tucson in about 170 miles.
