Shine Bright.What You'll Be Doing:Assists the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, efficient staff performance, and strong financial results. Supports department leaders, manages operational challenges, maintains quality standards, and helps drive guest satisfaction and overall hotel performance.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations across all property departments and ensure brand standards are consistently maintained.Ensure team members meet or exceed company service and operational standards.Lead and support department managers and supervisors through coaching, development, scheduling, and performance management.Foster a positive, professional, inclusive, and collaborative work environment while maintaining open-door and fair-treatment practices.Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively address guest concerns to ensure exceptional service.Oversee financial and accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, cash handling, purchasing, banking, and period-end procedures.Review financial statements, sales reports, and operating results to identify opportunities for cost control, productivity, and performance improvement.Ensure compliance with corporate policies, quality standards, licenses, permits, OSHA/MSDS requirements, and other applicable regulations.Maintain effective safety, security, and key-control programs.Partner with leadership on annual quality audits and property performance initiatives.Ensure effective onboarding and orientation of new team members.Support compliant hiring and employment practices, including I-9, ADA, and EEO requirements.Encourage continuous improvement by soliciting feedback and addressing employee and operational concerns.Perform other duties as assigned.Leadership & Management CompetenciesLeadership & Communication: Leads by example, communicates effectively, demonstrates professionalism, and builds trust and confidence.Problem Solving & Decision Making: Identifies solutions, evaluates alternatives, and makes sound business decisions.Team Building: Develops strong, collaborative teams and supports employee growth and performance.Results Driven: Sets clear expectations, monitors performance, and takes initiative to achieve business goals.Planning & Organization: Effectively prioritizes resources, staffing, and operational needs.Relationship Management: Builds strong relationships with employees, guests, and business partners.Adaptability & Global Mindset: Embraces change and effectively works with individuals from diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.Required Qualifications & SkillsProven leadership and management experience, preferably in hospitality or a related industry.Strong operational, financial, and organizational skills.Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop a diverse team.Knowledge of applicable employment, safety, and regulatory requirements.Ability to analyze financial and operational data and take appropriate action.Professional demeanor with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.Join UsIf you're highly organized, hospitality-minded, and thrive on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this is your opportunity to shine with the Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa.Apply today and start your journey where You Belong.
