Part-Time Barista

Starting hourly is $15.00/hour. Hours are 6:30 AM to Noon, with some extra hours depending on need.

Provides excellent customer service by preparing and serving menu items.

On a daily basis:

• Report to scheduled shifts on time and in complete uniform.
• Provide efficient, friendly and prompt service to the customer.
• Inform manager of need for change in a timely manner.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and food items.
• Adhere to recipes and measurements.

As needed:

• Assist in unloading deliveries.

Always:

• Communicate pleasantly and effectively with diverse populations.
• Be respectful, engaged and dependable.
• Work as a member of a fast-paced, efficient team.

Qualifications and skills:

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Able to work accurately and neatly.
• Experience in a cash handling position desired.
• Good organizational skills.
• Able to work without supervision.
• Responsible for meeting and maintaining state and local certification requirements (Food Handler certification).
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Able to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Simple math skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Physical demands:

• Able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Able to stand for 3 hours, uninterrupted.
• Moderate agility required for moving in coffee shop.

Environment:

• Continuous exposure to noise and heat.
• Occasional exposure to cold.
