Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering essential diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently, based on your credentials
• Providing education to patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your professional scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and ongoing chronic care management
• Partnering with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, holistic patient care
• Accurately documenting all interactions within electronic medical record systems

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or similar specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to acquire them within 90 days
