R & D Lab Technician

Location: Brea, CA
Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour

SCHEDULE

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• On-site
• Laboratory environment
• In-person interviews required

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Gather, maintain, format, and manipulate technical data, including laboratory and material test results and engineering design changes.
• Prepare reports containing quantitative analysis and technical findings.
• Assist with preparing engineering documents, reports, and drawings, including flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.
• Provide technical support to engineers on routine technical assignments.
• Assist with equipment scoping, setup, and qualification activities.
• Participate in general laboratory functions, including equipment calibration, safety procedures, and routine equipment maintenance.
• Assist with developing prototype processes and test setups.
• Execute designed test protocols and conduct laboratory testing.
• Accurately document test procedures, observations, and results.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma with 4–6 years of laboratory or technician experience in a regulated environment; OR
• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field with 1–2 years of laboratory or R&D experience following written procedures.
• Strong preference for candidates with a Bachelor of Science in a technical field and laboratory or R&D experience.
• Ability to follow written procedures and established testing protocols.
• Experience working in a regulated laboratory environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain accurate technical documentation.
