Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Beaumont, TX. We seek a dedicated Occupational Therapist to help inpatient neuro, ortho, and geriatric patients regain or improve daily skills while gaining experience in a hospital setting. The position uses the WellSky electronic medical record.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Texas Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Recent inpatient clinical experience required. No new graduates unless they have clinical inpatient experience.
• Experience working with neuro, orthopedic, and geriatric patient populations in an inpatient setting.
• Familiarity with WellSky EMR preferred.
• BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience.
• Experience with 65–78 bed hospital environments.

Assignment Details

• Inpatient hospital setting.
• Hospital uses WellSky electronic medical record.
• Schedule flexibility preferred; candidate availability for a Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday rotation would be ideal.
