Columbia University Institute of Human Nutrition 622 West 168th Street PH15 New York , NY 10032 United States $66,300-$66,300 Job Description The Staff Associate I will support research on the neural and molecular mechanisms underlying feeding behavior, energy balance, glucose homeostasis, and obesity-related metabolic disorders. The role will contribute to studies using inducible neuron-specific genetic mouse models to investigate lactate metabolism and cellular redox regulation in hypothalamic neurons. Responsibilities include mouse colony management, genotyping, tamoxifen induction, metabolic phenotyping, tissue collection & other procedures.
