Registered Dietitian, CF - California Medical Facility (CMF)

Position Overview Registered Dietitian, Correctional Facility (CF) at California Medical Facility, Vacaville, CA, Solano County. Responsibilities Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients in a correctional health care facility. Plans and organizes dietary activity for the facility. Writes, reviews, and approves menus. Authorizes substitutions or modifications of special diets. Serves as a member of the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDTT) and provides counseling to patients. Maintains order and supervises the conduct of inmates. Protects and maintains the safety of persons and property. Minimum Qualifications Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Applicants with proof of eligibility to apply for registration may be admitted to examination but must become registered to be eligible for appointment. Must pass the examination titled "Registered Dietitian, Correctional Facility" prior to appointment.
