Description

Amara Hospice Care provides Hospice Care services the community which includes skilled nursing facilities, assisted living's and home settings. This person must be certified and willing to travel within a territory to complete requested massage Therapy sessions with our hospice patients. This is a Per Diem position and is very flexible.

The Massage Therapist is responsible to provide medically prescribed massage therapy that creates a caring and safe environment, addressing the patients comfort needs.

Location

Oakland, Wayne counties MI and surrounding areas. Must be willing to drive.

Educational Requirements

Currently licensed, state certified, or registered or licensed as a massage therapist in the state and in good standing with the state board. Certification by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and/or Massage Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEX).

Position Requirements

• A minimum of one year of clinical massage therapy experience; • Experience in home health or hospice preferred.
