Load and unload goods from trucks safely and efficiently. Coordinate with carriers and schedule shipments following customer guidelines. Prepare and maintain accurate shipping records and required documentation. Ensure inventory accuracy by performing precise ERP transactions. Package and ship goods promptly to meet the daily shipment schedule. Identify and resolve complex issues, recommending process improvements as needed. Verify that outgoing orders match job and customer requirements. Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure proper storage of goods. Package goods using appropriate materials to prevent damage. Use banding equipment to secure goods to pallets. Maintain packing and shipping equipment in proper working order. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (sit-down and stand-up trucks). Use shipping software (such as UPSWorldShip and FedEx Shipping), scanners, label printers, and scales. Transport goods to and from the warehouse using the company truck. Collaborate effectively with team members and support a positive work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications and Skill Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a shipping and receiving role, including experience with international shipments and documentation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs., with sufficient manual dexterity; must be able to walk and stand for extended periods on concrete floors and work at a computer workstation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Office Suite preferred) and the ability to perform accurate data entry. Ability to interpret and follow written, verbal, diagram, and schedule-based instructions. Working knowledge of ERP systems preferred. Must have or be able to obtain a valid DOT medical exam certification.
