General Assembler - Entry Level (Urgent Need) - 1st Shift 6:30am to 3:00pm

Position General Assembler Location San Diego, CA Employment Type Contract on W2 (US citizens or GC holders only) Shift & Hours Day shift, Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3:00 pm. 40 hours per week. 1st shift. 12‑month contract. Job Description Perform tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices. Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment. Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications. Work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and adhere to quality guidelines. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Zero to one year of manufacturing/assembly experience. Effective communication skills that coworkers and supervisors can understand. Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations. Ability to use basic measurement tools, such as microscopes. Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis. Good attention to detail. Ability to get along with people and work in a team environment. Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities. Physical Demands Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Occasionally required to lift or move at least 50 pounds. These physical demands represent those necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
