Technical Sales Engineer

Job Description

Matix is seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer specializing in Cloud Integration to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based platforms that process and analyze data from our IoT hardware. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between our IoT devices and the cloud, enabling real-time data collection, storage, and insights generation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications that integrate with Matix’s IoT hardware solutions.
Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Develop APIs and services to facilitate seamless data flow between IoT devices and cloud storage/analytics systems.
Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of cloud applications, with a focus on data encryption and secure transmission.
Collaborate with hardware engineers, data scientists, and other developers to optimize the integration of cloud services with IoT platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud integration and performance.
Continuously monitor and improve the scalability and efficiency of cloud solutions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in cloud computing and cloud integration, particularly with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
Experience with cloud services and tools such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of IoT protocols and data formats like MQTT, JSON, etc.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
